Welcome to Sapphire's class page!

Spring Term

The children have returned this half-term with a continued enthusiasm for their learning! All of them have individual targets that they are working towards in their lessons and are incredibly keen to achieve. Their curiosity continues to grow as they ask intelligent questions to further their knowledge and understanding. We have now finished our first cycle of learning and have moved on to our third cycle titled 'The World Has Changed'.

Sapphire class will be taught by Mrs Maloney and supported by Mrs Dearne. On Fridays, Miss Shaw will be covering.

Homework

We would like to request your support in continuing your child's learning at home through weekly homework. Homework will be set each Thursday and will be due back the following Thursday.

* Maths and English homework will be completed through the online learning platform called 'Atom'. Children's log in details are on the back of their new Learning Logs.

* Children will also be expected to read five times a week for a minimum of 15 minutes. Please ensure to sign your child's Learning Log as these will be checked daily by adults in the classroom.

* Children will be provided with weekly spelling lists which will link to their in-class spelling lessons. Spelling tests will take place on a Thursday.

* Children will be expected to complete TT Rockstars 30 minutes a week to develop their fluency of their times tables.
